"I began drawing and coloring as soon as I could hold a crayon. My favorite subjects were family portraits and fashion illustrations. On Sundays I couldn't wait for the NY Times to arrive so I could color the Hirschfeld drawing in the theater section of the paper. I still love to count the "Ninas".

My adult career took me everywhere that I didn't expect to go. I started as a schoolteacher and subsequently tried my hand as a knitting fashion coordinator, photo stylist, needlecraft designer, children's fashion designer and finally as a toy designer for Eden Toys. I was always thrilled to be paid for coloring and drawing.

In 1992 I began to create and sell one of a kind pieces of hand painted antique furniture. It did well enough for me to leave my toy design work and open a little shop that sold antiques and my furniture. In 1993 I took a collection of furniture to the market at Valley Forge. Buyers liked it and requested prints of the furniture artwork for their customers. Framed prints of my original art were added in 1994. Today the furniture is gone. Creating the art for the prints, wall plaques and licensing keeps me very busy.

Thanks for your interest in my work."
